Mark Strickland, PT, OCS, MTC, Cert MDT, CFC, CCTT, CODN is a graduate from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston in 1984. He received his McKenzie certification in 1994, completed his Board Certification in Orthopedic Specialty in 1999, his Manual Therapy Certification through the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 1999, and his Craniofacial Certification in 2005 also through the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. In 2009, he was certified by the Physical Therapy Board of Cervical & Craniofacial Therapeutics (PTBCCT) as a Certified Cervical and Temporomandibular Therapist. In 2012, he completed his Vestibular Certification through the American Institute of Balance and Certification in Orofacial Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars.

Since 2004 he has been an Assistant Professor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences where he teaches online course in Craniomandibular Disorders (beginner, intermediate, advanced and State of the Art for 9 College credit hours per trimester for seventh semester DPT, post graduate transitional DPT students and Doctor of Science candidates). He is also the primary instructor and examiner for the seven Continuing Medical Education seminar series (S1, S3, CF1, CF2, CF3, CF4, review and certification) offered through the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, leading to Craniofacial Certification (CFC). 

Mr. Strickland is currently employed by Results Physiotherapy as a Regional Vice President.

He practices physical therapy in Austin, TX with primary specialties of spine, manual therapy, and Craniomandibular Disorders, including pre and post surgical TMJ cases, total joint replacements, arthroplasty, condylotomy, and arthroscopy with or without plication, orthognathic surgery, and grafts. He routinely sees patients with congenital or developmental deformities such as Melnick Needles Syndrome, Cerebrocostomandibular Syndrome, Hemifacial Microsomia, neuropathies, post complete or partial facial reconstruction, traumatic head and facial injuries and disorders of myogenous origin.

In his personal life, he plays Men’s Senior Baseball, golf, and works in his garden. Mark holds Black Belts in Kung Jung Mu Sul and Bakido.
