Non-compliant and Reinstatement Policy

I. Non-Compliant and Reinstatement Policy for late Annual Dues.

The CCTT is non-complaint for paying annual dues if in the 1st year of a 2-year reporting period, the CCTT does not pay the $150 annual dues by 11:59pm EST April 15.  After midnight EST April 15, the CCTTs name will be removed from the PTBCCT web site directory. A grace period of 60 days (midnight EST June 15) will be allowed for the CCTT to be compliant with paying their annual dues.

  • Reinstatement Policy
    1. If the annual dues of the 1st year of a 2-year reporting period are paid by midnight EST June 15, the CCTT is then deemed in full compliance and the physical therapist’s name and CCTT status will be return to the PTBCCT directory.
    2. If the CCTT fails to pay their annual dues by the end of the grace period ending midnight EST June 15, the CCTT will be assessed a late fee of $150. The physical therapist will need to have all dues and late fees paid in full before submitting CEUs for the next reporting period. Once past and current dues and late fees are paid in full along with submitting their 30 CEUs with approval by the CEU committee, the physical therapist is then deemed in full compliance and the physical therapist’s name and CCTT status return to the PTBCCT directory.
  • CCTT Status Revoked
    1. If the physical therapist is non-compliant with paying 2 consecutive years of dues and late fees by the next reporting period that ends on midnight April 15, the physical therapist will have their CCTT status revoked. The CCTT is referred to the Code of Conduct.
      • To reinstate their CCTT status, the Physical therapist will have to re-apply, with payment, and successfully pass the CCTT examination.

II. Non-Compliant and Reinstatement Policy for CEUs that are denied.

The CEU committee requires a minimum of 4 weeks to review CEUs submitted by the CCTT and to notify the CCTT that their CEUs were approved or that some or all of their CEUs were denied. Depending on how close the CCTT submitted their CEUs to the midnight EST April 15 deadline and how soon the CEUs can be reviewed by the CEU committee, the CCTT may have their CEUs approved after the midnight EST April 15 deadline. If this occurs, the CCTT is in compliance with the CEU policy.

The CCTT who had some or all of their 30 CEUs declined by the CEU committee will be given a grace period to obtain the required 30 CEUs. A grace period of 4 months from the April 15 deadline will be extended to midnight EST August 15. This will allow the CCTT time to obtain and resubmit the necessary number of CEUs to be approved by the CEU committee. These CEUs can be acquired during the grace period. However, CEUs that were acquired during the grace period and were used to obtain their 30 CEUs, the CCTT cannot apply these CEUs towards the next reporting period for 30 CEUs. During the grace period, the CCTTs name will be removed from the PTBCCT web site directory.

  • Reinstatement Policy
    1. If the required number of CEUs were submitted before the grace period ending midnight EST August 15 and were approved by the CEU committee the CCTT is then deemed in full compliance and will have their name and CCTT status return to the PTBCCT directory.
  • CCTT Status Revoked
    1. If the CCTT fails to submit the required number of CEUs by midnight EST August 15, the physical therapist will have their CCTT status revoked. The CCTT is referred to the Code of Conduct.
      • To reinstate their CCTT status, the Physical therapist will have to re-apply, with payment, and successfully pass the CCTT examination.

III. Non-Compliant and Reinstatement Policy for CEUs not submitted

The CCTT is non-compliant for CEU Documentation if CEU Documentation is not submitted by midnight EST April 15 for the current 2-year reporting period. After midnight EST April 15, the CCTTs name will be removed from the PTBCCT directory. A grace period of 60 days (midnight EST June 15) will be allowed for the CCTT to submit 30 CEUs. These CEUs cannot be acquired during the grace period. Only CEUs that were obtained prior to April 15 can be used towards their 30 CEUs.

  • Reinstatement Policy
    1. If the 30 CEUs were submitted by midnight EST June 15 and were approved by the CEU committee, the CCTT is then deemed in full compliance and will have their name and CCTT status returned to the PTBCCT directory.
  • CCTT Status Revoked
    1. If the CCTT fails to submit 30 CEUs by midnight EST June 15, the CCTT is non-compliant and will have their CCTT status revoked. The CCTT is referred to the Code of Conduct.
      • To reinstate their CCTT status, the physical therapist will have to re-apply, with payment, and successfully pass the CCTT examination.
