Grace received her doctorate in physical therapy from New York University in 2002. In 2010, she received a certificate as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. In 2015, she received her certification as a Certified Cervical and Temporomandibular Therapist (CCTT) by the Physical therapy Board of Craniofacial and Cervical Therapeutics.
In 2010, Grace went into private practice with the goal of providing excellent physical therapy care, with emphasis on one-on-one and hands-on care, especially for those patients seeking help regarding temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD), cranio-facial pain, neck pain and headaches. In 2013, she joined the University of North Carolina (UNC-Chapel Hill) Dental Faculty Practice, to treat patients in the Orofacial Pain Clinic. In 2016, she was appointed Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics. She has clinic once per week at UNC and treats patients at her private practice the rest of the week.
Grace continues to be active with continuing education and pursuing other advanced certifications. She is certified in Orofacial Dry Needling with Myopain Seminars. She has taken course work with Mariano Rocabado, DPT, through University of St. Augustine. She has taken European CRAFTA (Cranio Facial Therapy Academy) classes. She is especially interested in pediatric TMD and headache management. She is an affiliate member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain.
Grace is active in the community and regularly meets with doctors, dentists, and oral surgeons to discuss role of the physical therapist in management of patients with TMD related pain and HA’s. She is a native New Yorker, and currently resides in the triangle area of North Carolina with her young and busy family.
