March 1: The CCTT application fee is $750, with a $600 refund if the application is denied.

Within 1 year: The exam retake fee is $375 when scheduled within one year of receiving a fail notice.

April 15: Annual dues are $150, with the first year waived for newly certified CCTTs.

April 15 (biennial): CEU submissions are due every two years, with 30 CEUs required for each reporting period.

Eligibility Checklist
To apply for the CCTT examination, you must meet the following criteria:

Experience – Minimum 3 years as a licensed PT (2 years in specialty)
-
Specialty Hours – 2000 hours in cervical, temporomandibular, and/or orofacial pain/dysfunction (500 in the last 3 years)
-
Continuing Education – 100 CE hours in the last 10 years (see CEU Policy)
-
Recommendations – 2 letters (1 from a CCTT/AAOP member, 1 from a medical/dental professional or PT meeting committee criteria)
-
Professional Credentials – Current PT license, professional letterhead/business card/website
-
Photo ID – Passport-style photo (see requirements)

Maintaining Your Certification
To maintain your CCTT status and remain listed in the PTBCCT directory:

Annual Dues – $150, due April 15 each year (first full year waived)
-
Biennial CEUs – 30 CEUs every 2 years (15 CEUs if certified in an odd year)

Compliance – Submit dues and CEUs on time to maintain active status
